What is a Micro Pile?

Micro Piles are small diameter piles those are a group of deep foundations that drilled, cast in placed or grouted and most of them have frictional bearing operation. Helical Piles are group of Piles they have both frictional and toe bearing capacity. Micro Piles are constructed by both steel and concrete materials. The bearing stratum is logged during installation drilling to assure that bearing capacity is adequate.

Micro Pile Under Lateral Load

In some cases because of lateral loads due to wind, earthquake or machinery we need horizontal bearing capacity of the soil foundation. Micro Pile has a suitable lateral resistance that is concluded of interaction between pile and passive pressure of the soil.

Tieback Micro Pile

Lateral capacity of the foundation supported on Helical Pile is to use a Jack Leg or Tie Back anchor installed at a shallow angle and attached to the foundation.
